The Carolinas’ Premier Dance Photography Studio

We offer Creative, Themed, Outdoor, and Headshot sessions. Once you decide which is best for you or your dancer, we’ll book your dance photoshoot!

Next, we’ll jump into creative mode, starting with a “Meet the Dancer” questionnaire that helps us get to know you – including the dance disciplines you practice, how long you’ve been dancing, and how often you take classes.

This is where the fun begins! Every aspect of your ei experience is tailored to you.

We’ll need a list of 8 to 10 poses you want to capture and photos of 5 to 7 wardrobe pieces (outfits, costumes, leotards) that vary in color and style. From here, Team ei will plan your session! We’ll pull backdrops, props and set pieces, and create inspired lighting schemes that will bring your vision to life.

This is your day! After stretching and dressing, we’ll collaborate to create images that are representative of your capabilities. Each pose will be shot 3 to 10 times, with corrections between takes as needed. Your photographs will be displayed on a 50” screen on set and a 24” screen off stage, making communication seamless.

The session only wraps when both dancer and photographer are thrilled.

Before leaving the studio, we’ll schedule an in-person/virtual gallery experience within a week.

During our 30 to 45 minute meeting, we’ll view your highlight reel and full portfolio, create your collection of dance photos, and select your digital and/or print bundle. Choosing pieces can be hard – bring those involved in the decision making process with you! Just 2 weeks later, you’ll receive your gorgeous images!
